YEAR 4 JOURNEY TO BRAESIDE BULLETIN
WEATHER Dry and fine, with lots of sunshine. A bit cold at times.
LUNCH Picnic lunch (eco-friendly…no wrappers, cartons).
DAYTIME ACTIVITIES
EVENING MEAL Turkey roast, large roast potatoes, carrots and peas. Sponge cream cake, yoghurt and/ or fruit.
EVENING ACTIVITIES
BEDTIME Children were in bed by 9:00 pm; lights out at 9:30 pm. Most children were fast asleep by 10:00 pm.
REFLECTIONS Another sunny day, full of fun learning. Pond dipping was very exciting; found a mayfly nymph. Children really enjoyed taking exercise in the grounds during the afternoon, whilst the adults enjoyed refreshing cups of tea on the terrace!! Excellent appetites at dinner time.

EVENING MEAL Pizza/ jacket potato/ cauliflower cheese with baked beans, sweetcorn and side salad Apple crumble & custard, yoghurt and/ or fruit

BEDTIME Children were in bed by 9:00 pm; lights out at 9:30 pm.
REFLECTIONS Children have been very inquisitive; keen and interested in learning new things. Behaviour has been excellent. Great weather has put everyone in a really good mood! All are looking forward to the Y5 Journey to Braeside!! |
