OF CHILDREN IN LOWER KEY STAGE TWO (YEARS 3 AND 4)
Dear Parent,
We are writing to invite you to meetings that will be taking place in
Terms 3 and 5 for parents of Year 3 and 4 children.
They are as follows:

E-safety Meeting
Tues 22nd April 2008
3:15 – 4:00 pm
Yew classroom
At the first LKS2 meeting, in Term 3, we will share with you the
teaching and learning in Years 3 and 4, particularly focusing on the subjects
of Literacy and Numeracy. At the
moment, we are planning the exact content of this meeting and would like to
give you the opportunity to tell us what you would like to know so that we can
provide relevant information for you. This
might be:
How to support your child at home.
Reading in school and at home.
Spelling in school and at home.
Methods of calculation in maths.
Computer skills used in school.
Something we haven’t thought of!
We would be
very grateful if you can please complete the slip below with your ideas and
return it to Mr Wrixon by Monday 28th January 2008.
We look forward to reading your ideas and seeing you at the meeting.
The second of our meetings, in Term 5, will focus on the use of the
Internet and e-safety, both in school and at home.
We will send a letter to you nearer the time, with further details.
