A LOVE-LY WEEK AT
KING’S
LODGE
COMMUNITY
SCHOOL
Love
is in the air at King’s
Lodge
Community
School
this week. Our primary school’s
assembly theme is ‘love’, encouraging children and staff to explore and
think about their feelings associated with love and nurture, as well as respect
for one another.
Hanging in each
classroom is a heart-shaped balloon and corridors are decorated with red paper
love hearts, with pink and red roses in the staffroom.
During the week’s assemblies, children have enjoyed serenading their
peers and reflecting on what ‘showing love’ and ‘being loved’ means to
them.
Sam
Barker-Cooper of Class Chestnut in Year 6 commented, “We love our teachers and
TAs, who really support us in our learning.” Sarah Saville in Year 4 added,
“We are all very caring at KLS.”
